How The Filters Work?
DoggySpout™ uses a 3-layer active carbon filtration system designed to keep your dog’s water clean, fresh, and drinkable all day.
Each filter combines high-density activated carbon, ion-exchange media, and fine mechanical filtration to target common tap-water contaminants:
- Removes up to 99.9% of chlorine, which affects taste and can irritate sensitive digestive systems
- Eliminates 95–98% of heavy metals like lead and copper that build up in the body over time
- Filters 90–95% of pharmaceutical residues commonly found in municipal water
- Traps hair, debris, and sediment before they reach your dog’s bowl
Because water is filtered continuously as it circulates, it stays cleaner throughout the day, not just right after a refill.
To keep filtration effective, filters should be replaced every 2 weeks. With a subscription, fresh filters are delivered automatically based on your selected schedule, so your dog always has clean water without you having to remember. You can pause or cancel anytime.

The Easiest Way to Improve Your Dog’s Health & Happiness
A simple upgrade that helps prevent dehydration and the health issues that come with it.
VET-BACKED HEALTH INSIGHT
Reduces the Risk of Kidney Issues & UTIs
According to the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine, one of the most common dog health problems is chronic kidney disease due to poor hydration.
- Dogs naturally drink more from flowing water
- Better hydration supports kidney and urinary health
- Designed to help prevent long-term hydration-related issues
WIDE + ELEVATED DESIGN
Finally, a Fountain Designed for How Dogs Actually Drink
PuppySpout was engineered from the ground up for the way puppies and small dogs drink—with a wide, open bowl, appropriate drinking height, and a splash-catching design that keeps floors dry even with heavy drinkers and droolers.
- Wide, elevated bowl perfect for puppies & small dog breeds
- Splash-catching design keeps slobber and drips off your floor
- Comfortable drinking design so pups don't strain their necks
FAUCET-STYLE DRINKING FLOW
Triggers Natural Drinking Instincts
Dogs instinctively prefer flowing water. In the wild, moving water was safer to drink than stagnant sources. That instinct is still hardwired into dogs today, which is why they’re naturally drawn to running water.
- Mimics the tap dogs already try to drink from
- Encourages repeat visits throughout the day
- Helps turn drinking into a consistent habit
2.2L/135oz, LOW-MAINTENANCE CAPACITY
Up to Two Weeks of Water Per Fill
For fewer refills and less daily monitoring.
- Holds enough water for 12–13 days
- Ideal for busy schedules or short trips
- Keeps fresh water available at all times

Great products, caring company
Great customer service from a caring company. My dog loves the fountain - like any dog, he loves the faucet. He drinks more water now, too. I’ve had other dog fountains that didn't work nearly as well as this one.

Dogs do prefer running water
Dogs do prefer running water. Mine always wanted to drink out of the sink faucet. Now she can get water whenever she wants it!! I set the fountain on movement detection,

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before (and after) you order.
How often do I need to change the filters?
Filters should be replaced every 2 weeks to keep the water clean and fresh. With a subscription, replacements are delivered automatically, so you never have to remember.
Is PuppySpout safe for dogs?
Yes. PuppySpout is made from 304 food-grade stainless steel, is BPA-free, and is designed to reduce bacteria, slime, and mold commonly found in plastic bowls.
Will my pup actually drink more water?
Most dogs naturally prefer flowing water. PuppySpout’s faucet-style stream is designed to trigger that instinct, which is why 96% of dogs drink more compared to still bowls.
Is the fountain noisy?
No. The ultra-quiet pump runs at under 25 dB, making it quieter than a whisper. Even sensitive or skittish pups won’t be disturbed.
Does the PuppySpout need to be plugged in?
Yes. The PuppySpout is a corded fountain — it comes with a country-specific power adapter and needs to stay connected to a power outlet to keep the pump and filtration running.
Can I place it anywhere?
As long as it's within reach of a power outlet. Since it plugs in via the included adapter, pick a spot near an outlet where your dog likes to drink.

You’re covered by our 365-day money-back guarantee. Try DoggySpout risk-free and return it if it’s not the right fit.
